Sunday + Fill In Farmers Market Rep
This position is on Sunday twice per month selling at the Portland King Farmers Market (usually alternating Sundays), as well as taking any fill in shifts at any of our weekend farmers markets.
Job Time and Location:
On Sunday, begin at our Oregon City bakery at 7:45am. Then drive to the Portland King Farmers Market. End at the bakery to unload between 3:15-3:45pm. The Sunday king farmers market hours are 10am-2pm.

Note: This position is only ~16 hours per month so it's not a good fit for any job seekers that need more than this many hours . This position is integral to our little bakery operation. This position is best for someone that already has a set schedule and is looking to supplement their hours with a Saturday shift.

What you'll do:
- represent Small Baking Co. and sell our pastries at a very busy farmer's market.
- transport all market gear & desserts in your personal vehicle and set up and break down booth
- handle cash and credit card transactions (using your phone to take payments)
- tell our story, charm visitors and local shoppers, and ensure each customer has a positive experience.
Our ideal candidate:
- love baked goods and passionate about local ingredients
- responsible, reliable and committed to what you do
- manage inventory and handle payments/track transactions
- ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for up to 10 hours
- Has own car to transport all market supplies
- Has a phone in good working order
- Has a good driving record
- Has sales experience and excellent customer service skills
- A people person- both friendly, approachable, and enjoys talking to strangers!
- Must be at least 18 years old & have 2 + years of driving experience
Compensation and perks:
- $19/hour
- Tips (usually tips from the King market are between $45-$100+)
- $20 worth of product market trade each market day, 35% employee discount on baked goods, mileage reimbursement ($30 for the King 2026 market season.) We offer all employees yearly raises.
